Image By Johnny Kyle We will be having a studio evening on the 10th of September, please make sure and turn up on time and please wait in Room 1, as these evenings can be rather busy and stressful for the organisers and model, please do not enter Room 2 until everything is setup and ready.
For those that have not attended a studio evening before, please note the following:-
During these sessions the use of your onboard flash or flash gun is not permitted.
You will be supplied a hotshoe flash controller to control the studio lights.
Camera in single shot mode only. ie not 10 frames a second.
Only two people will be allowed in the studio to take photos. Usually this would be an advanced and novice member.
Depending on the total number of members attending on these evenings will determine the allocated time to take images.
A basic understanding of your cameras menus and controls to put the camera in manual mode and be able to enter
F-Stop
Shutter Speed
ISO
White Balance
(If you don't understand how to make the adjustments don't panic help will be at hand. Just ask.)
Following the settings given on the evening will produce the results that the studio lighting has been setup for and are never wrong (well sometimes).
Last on this list is Enjoy Yourself, say thank you to your model and those that made the evening possible.
