Antrim Camera Club is staging an exhibition of the work of club members in the Antrim Library for two weeks commencing 23 August 2010. The aim of the exhibition is to showcase the photographic skills of our members and to highlight the beginning of the new winter Programme.
Antrim Camera Club was founded in 1984 and commences a new season in Parkhall College, Steeple Road, Antrim on Wednesday 01 September 2010. The club will meet weekly each Wednesday night at 7.45pm until May 2011. We are a friendly club and we have a wide range of members of all photographic abilities and interests. Over the past few seasons the club has experienced a growing membership.
Enthusiasm for photography is the only requirement you need for membership.
You don’t even have to own a camera (but it helps)!
There are many opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge
through practical sessions, lectures and outings.
One third of our membership is female these days. We always welcome new members and you will be welcome whether you are an experienced photographer or a raw beginner.
Our club programme will offer lots of learning opportunities and the chance to show and discuss your photos.
The club has recently mounted a wildlife exhibition during the
Greenmount Summer Programme and has previously exhibited in Clotworthy House
Exhibition Centre, Greystone Library and the Castle Mall.
Membership fee is £30 per year with a concession fee of £20 for OAPs,
Unemployed and Juniors.
If you have any enquiries you can make them through the club website or by contacting the Club Chairman at 07715 775197.
